A principal manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu em Roma, com cerca de 1 milh\u00e3o de manifestantes nas ruas.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 dias que vem acontecendo em toda It\u00e1lia protestos (manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es de rua com at\u00e9 200 mil pessoas, greves, ocupa\u00e7\u00e3o tempor\u00e1ria de salas de aula e tamb\u00e9m de instala\u00e7\u00f5es p\u00fablicas, como esta\u00e7\u00f5es de trem). Muitas escolas fizeram aulas nas ruas ou em locais emblem\u00e1ticos, como o Coliseu.<\/p>\n<p>A indigna\u00e7\u00e3o dos estudantes \u00e9 contra a aprova\u00e7\u00e3o no Senado da reforma educacional. A reforma foi proposta pela ministra da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o da It\u00e1lia, Mariastella Gelmini e j\u00e1 havia sido amplamente rejeitada por estudantes e professores. A oposi\u00e7\u00e3o e os estudantes exigiam a retirada do texto, que estabelece a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de uma nota de conduta como requisito para aprova\u00e7\u00e3o nas disciplinas.<\/p>\n<p>A medida tamb\u00e9m prev\u00ea o fechamento de 86 mil postos de trabalho, de professores e funcion\u00e1rios, nos pr\u00f3ximos tr\u00eas anos. No ensino prim\u00e1rio, haver\u00e1 apenas um professor para todas as disciplinas, exceto inform\u00e1tica, ingl\u00eas e religi\u00e3o.Outros motivos para a falta de acordo com os estudantes e com os pais dos alunos \u00e9 o fechamento de muitas escolas que est\u00e3o em lugares isolados, o aumento de estudantes por turma e a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da carga hor\u00e1ria letiva (das 40 horas semanais para 24).
